If you are going for a "vintage look" I find loose, flowing curls look great. They can be pulled up with pins to keep the look in place.

If your hair is short, you may want to consider a more sleek look with a few big curls around the face to frame it.

Black Hair or Bleach Blonde Hair

Normally with BLUNT bangs that are slightly curled.
Lots of Ponytails, lose curls and shiny sleek strands.
Monroe - any sort of beauty mark is a plus!
